📚 Core Subjects & Syllabus Overview

1. Environmental Studies (EVS) – पर्यावरण और हम

This subject introduces students to their natural, cultural, and historical surroundings. The syllabus consists of 21 chapters, featuring key topics such as:

• Travel & Landmarks: पटना से नाथूला की यात्रा (Travel from Patna to Nathula), ऐतिहासिक स्मारक (Historical Monuments).
• Nature & Agriculture: बीजों का बिखरना (Dispersal of Seeds), हमारी फसलें हमारा खान-पान (Our Crops, Our Food Habits), हमारा जंगल (Our Forests).
• Health & Science: रोस की जंग मलेरिया के संग (Malarial awareness), पानी और हम (Water and Us).

2. Mathematics – गणित (अंकगणित)

The math syllabus focuses on core arithmetic, basic operations, and spatial awareness:

• Numbers: Numbers up to multiple digits, place value, and large numbers.
• Basic Arithmetic: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems.
• Fractions & Decimals: Concept of fractions, simple decimal representation.

3. Language 1: Hindi (किसलय) / Urdu (गुलशन-ए-उर्दू)

• Grammar: Nouns (संज्ञा), gender (लिंग), pronouns (सर्वनाम), adjectives (विशेषण), verbs (क्रिया), singular/plural (वचन), and basic essay and letter writing.

• Reading & Comprehension: Short biographical stories, folk tales, and poems.
• Basic Grammar: Articles, singular/plural forms, gender, opposite words, framing simple sentences, and elementary vocabulary building.
